Goal of Market Explorer
The goal of Market Explorer is to create a marketing list that you will use for all of your cold outreach campaigns. Depending on your marketing spend and available TAM (Total Available Market) within your area, this tool will help you narrow it down.
Getting to know the dashboard
- The Navigation bar along the top row gives you options on where to go
- There are two menu options at the top, “Market Explorer” and “Your Lists”
How to use Market Explorer to search for properties
- Work your way from Left to Right in the Filter Navigation menu
- Start with the Location and narrow down your search after that
- Type in the name of the city or zip code in the Location dropdown
- Next, adjust the minimum and maximum Value, if desired
- Then, adjust the Size parameters for the number of bedrooms and square footage, if desired
Key Items to Know as you Go:- Added filters are shown on the map below as you continue to add new ones. To remove them, click on the X on the right-hand side of the filter box.
- The property count will be displayed on the white bar at the bottom of your screen on the left side
- The Reset button will remove all filters and will redirect you to the default location
- The Boundary tool should be used last to draw a smaller boundary.
- The cursor becomes a crosshair. Click once to create your first endpoint. Click again to create your second endpoint. Continue on until you have the desired shape. Your polygon will be orange at this point indicating that it is still an open polygon. To close it, click on one of the existing endpoints. The polygon will then turn blue demonstrating that it is now closed. This is your final boundary.
- Options for Adjusting the Boundary after creating:
- Click on the side of the boundary to move the entire shape - your cursor will now become crosshairs. The polygon will turn orange again. To finalize your changes, please click the boundary icon again.
- Click and hold an endpoint or click a point between two endpoints to increase/decrease the shape of the polygon.
- If you make changes to the original boundary, you must click the boundary icon in the filter menu bar to close and confirm the new changes to the boundary
-
- The history of the previously created boundaries can be found by clicking on the bookmark icon on the right-hand side.

- Add any additional filters for Status and Premium filtering. Click here to read more about these filtering options.
- When you are satisfied with your search results, you must click on Save Search. Enter a title for your saved search and click on Save Search to complete. This will add your saved search to the history in the bookmark icon.
- Note: If you do not save your search before continuing, Vintory is unable to recover the filters used to create the list.
- Click on “Next Step: Refine in Grid View” in the bottom right-hand corner. Here you will be able to make further adjustments before creating your list. Click here to read more on next steps.
When drawing a boundary, do not overlap them. If needed, start in a smaller designated area and then expand.
